Welcome to Lembaga Zakat Selangor's (LZS) first Sustainability Report (Report). As an institution under the Majlis Agama Islam Selangor (Selangor Islamic Religious Council), entrusted with the mandate to collect and distribute zakat on behalf of His Royal Highness the Sultan of Selangor, we are committed to distribute zakat collected into impactful benefits to uplift Selangor’s asnaf community.
Reporting Scope and Boundaries
This Report covers the sustainability performance of the headquarters, LZS’s 18 branches and its 6 institutions.
The contents of this Report have been prepared based on the 11 material matters identified through a materiality assessment. The material matters listed in this Report have been reviewed and approved by our Board of Trustees to ensure their alignment with LZS’s vision, mission and goals.
